The Wisconsin Badgers recruiting efforts continue to bring high-profile offers. After securing some big commits for the 2024 cycle, the Badgers have their sights set on more. Luke Fickell and his staff have been heavily involved on the recruiting trail and another four-star recruit, defensive lineman Bryce Young, has received an offer.
After a great conversation with @G_Scruggs, @Coach_Mitch_, and @CoachFick, I am grateful to say I have received an offer from the University of Wisconsin!#AGTG #OnWisconsin pic.twitter.com/KlEQU3fW2F

Wisconsin Badgers Recruiting: Bryce Young Receives Offer
No this is not the quarterback in this year’s draft. This Bryce Young is the son of Hall of Famer Bryant Young who had 618 tackles and 89.5 sacks in his career with the 49ers. From Charlotte, North Carolina, Young is 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds. Defensive line coach Greg Scruggs has been heavily involved in the recruiting. He is the 208 overall in the 2024 class according to 247 Sports.
Will He Actually Come To Madison?
There are some factors working against Fickell and his staff. His father went to Notre Dame meaning they are the clear favorite. 247 Sports has a couple of crystal ball predictions already for the Fighting Irish. Duke has also offered him a scholarship that would keep him close to home. Other SEC teams including Tennessee are in the mix that would provide high-profile games and coaches. It seems unlikely but the fact that Wisconsin is even in the mix speaks to the type of program Fickell and his staff are building.
You never know what players will decide to do. While it doesn’t seem likely, we have seen stranger things in the world of college football recruiting.
