For as long as Aaron Rodgers is in the league, the Green Bay Packers will keep an eye on him. Just days before the 2023 NFL Draft, the future Hall Of Fame QB was traded to the New York Jets.
Clearly, the Jets had high expectations for the 2023 season, but it didn’t turn out as they had hoped. A torn Achilles ended Rodgers’ season after just four offensive snaps. Rodgers clearly intends to return in 2024 stronger than ever, but his off-season has been nothing short of eventful.
That didn’t change with some of his recent comments.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Sparks Outrage Over Recent HIV Comments
According to the New York Jets quarterback, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases engineered the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the 1980s with federal assistance. He announced this during an appearance on the Look Into It podcast with Eddie Bravo in March:
WOW… #Jets QB Aaron Rodgers says that HIV was created by the US government.

Although Fauci developed treatments that enabled HIV patients to live long lives, he was often criticized for the government’s response to the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s. Rodgers has frequently criticized the U.S. response to the Coronavirus pandemic under Trump and Biden administrations.
Rodgers also attempted to tie the government’s response to the Coronavirus to Fauci’s handling of the HIV/AIDS epidemic:
“But that was the game plan back then: create an environment where only one thing works. Back then, AZT. Now? Remdesivir—Remdesiviruntil we get a vaccine,” Rodgers continued, with Remdesivir being an antiviral medication that stops the virus that causes COVID-19 from growing in the body.
Rodgers added: “And we know Pfizer is one of the most criminally corrupt organizations ever. The fine they paid was the biggest in the history of the DOJ [Department of Justice] in 2009. Like, what are we talking about? We’re going to put our full trust in science that can’t be questioned.”
Fans Blasted Aaron Rodgers On Social Media Over These Comments
If you want to question the science, it helps to be a scientist. Instead of a clown spreading disinformation.
