The Wisconsin football staff has held a flurry of visits over the past few weeks, and now the time put in with the recruits appears to be paying off.
In particular, Wisconsin football has begun to develop an excellent relationship with 2025 four-star athlete Jaimier Scott. Scott had a chance to visit campus and meet with the staff this past weekend along with other top-level 2025 recruits. Shortly after the visit, Scott posted a picture to X (Formerly known as Twitter) that showcased images from presumably his final four programs.
Wisconsin Football Hosts and Impresses Four-Star Jaimier Scott Ahead of Potential Collegiate Decision

Thus far in his recruitment, the exciting play-maker Jaimier Scott has been rather quiet regarding his future. Scott has been a busy recruit, making nine collegiate visits over the past ten months as he continues to be near his decision. Scott booked his first visit of the New Year with the Wisconsin football staff, which has quickly changed the landscape of his recruitment.
Currently, Scott ranks as the 326th recruit nationally and the 20th athlete in the 2025 recruiting class. Scott is also ranked as the 12th recruit in his home state of Ohio. The recruit has displayed an ability to play safety, corner back, wide receiver, and running back when needed, though Scott feels most comfortable as a corner back.
This past season as a Junior, Scott scored eight offensive touchdowns with a total of 688 all-purpose yards. On the defensive side of the ball, Scott averaged 3.1 tackles per game with 34 and also added three interceptions and a pass defense. The talented two-way player truly displayed this past season his potential on either side of the ball.
The Impact: Can the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Land an Exceptional Two-Way Player?

After making plenty of visits and getting the chance to speak with multiple different staff members, Scott seemingly named his final four programs on Social Media. Scott has cut his list down to Michigan, Tennessee, Penn State, and Wisconsin football ahead of his potential decision.

Scott has displayed little to no interest in staying in Ohio, given that he has not been communicating with in-state programs nearly as much. However, that does not mean that in-state programs such as Ohio State and Akron are not trying to land the recruit.
It is huge for the Wisconsin Badgers football staff to currently make the final cut for Scott, but there is still plenty of work that needs to be done. The ability of Scott on either side of the ball and the fact that he could start at multiple different positions makes him much more valuable as a recruit. Wisconsin football will have quite the battle ahead of them to land Scott.
