Report: Wisconsin Football Expected To Land Exciting 2025 In-State Duo

The Wisconsin football staff recently received two future commitment predictions that see a duo of talented recruits staying in Wisconsin according to Rivals.

Michael Roeske and Cooper Catalano are both exceptional recruits hailing from the great state of Wisconsin. Each recruit has been closely tied to the Badgers football program, and Badgers recruiting analyst Jon McNamara seems to agree with his predictions. Both Roeske and Catalano are days away from their respective visits to Madison, which could seal the deal for the Badgers.

Wisconsin Football Trending Towards Landing A Massive In-State Recruiting Duo

Roeske, a 6-foot-7-inch offensive tackle, is the perfect physical mold for the Badgers offensive line. The big lineman packs a serious punch with his power moves and defenders are rarely able to move him backwards. The exceptional offensive blocker has already made three visits to Madison, including one earlier this year, but the Badgers hope to make a shift during his upcoming visit.

The Wisconsin football staff offered Roeske a scholarship earlier this year in April. The lineman currently holds five total offers from Notre Dame, Minnesota, Syracuse, and Indiana as well as the Badgers. The four-star recruit is expected to receive plenty of more offers before the end of his Junior season.

Catalano, a 6-foot-2-inch three-star linebacker, has been a defensive threat for his team the past two years. Catalano is a strong, speedy tackling machine and the recruit has a knack for discovering where the next play will be. Between his vision and physical tools, Catalano has all the potential to become an elite-level linebacker at the collegiate level.

The Wisconsin football staff has kept a close eye on Catalano for the past few months. Catalano originally received a scholarship offer from the Badgers in October of 2022, but has since met plenty of times with the new staff. The inside linebacker has made five visits to Madison already, including three this year. Both Mike Tressel and Colin Hitschler have been staying in close contact with the exceptional recruit.

Will Wisconsin Land Their Prized In-State Recruiting Duo?

While coach Luke Fickell does not need to prove himself to anyone, plenty of critics have been loud about his struggle to land in-state talent. Fickell and the Badgers prioritize talent over location, but it may be very hard for the staff to pass up this exceptional duo.

Both Roeske and Catalano would be huge additions for the Badgers if they were able to land them in the near future. However, it may take quite some time given the fact that neither recruit is very far into their recruiting process.
