There’s no doubt Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen is arguably the best player on the roster. There’s also no doubt he is one of the best players in the Big Ten and the country. That was on display as according to PPF College, Braelon Allen was included as the 43rd best player in the country on their top 50 list.

It’s become obvious Braelon Allen is one of the best running backs in the country. In his first two years at Wisconsin, he has rushed for almost 2,500 yards. A majority of those yards have come with eight and nine man boxes. This happened because defenses were forcing Wisconsin to throw the ball and become one-dimensional. Most of the time, the Badgers were unable to do that.
Allen is also a physical runner. At 6’2 and 240 pounds, he also doesn’t get enough credit for his speed. He has the ability to break loose once he gets to the second line of defense. His physicality is also an advantage once he gets to the second line.
There is a lot of good running backs in college football today. The 2024 NFL Draft should have a good class as well. Barring anything crazy, expect Braelon Allen to be in the 2024 NFL Draft and to hear his name called likely in day two.
