The Wisconsin Badgers recruiting efforts have become more aggressive in the past three months. Luke Fickell and his staff are going after recruits that previously, the program would have had no chance at. One of those recruits is 4-star athlete Brandyn Hillman. He has already committed to Notre Dame and now Wisconsin is looking to flip him.

Hillman is a 4-star recruit out of Portsmouth, Virginia. He is a class of 2023 recruit meaning he could be eligible to be on the field this season. He has already committed to Notre Dame but nothing is official yet it seems. The announcement of the offer came via Hillman’s Twitter account. He clearly was excited about receiving the offer. While this doesn’t mean he is one hundred percent going to flip, it does spread doubt about how hard he is committed to Notre Dame.

A Huge Get If It Happens
If Fickell and his staff are able to get a player to flip that would be huge. Not only would the recruit be a last-minute addition, but he would also be flipping from one of the premier programs in the country. Athletes are also very desirable as they can be plugged in at multiple positions. He has played both quarterback and defensive back in high school though likely he would be put on the defensive side if he were to come to Madison.
This is something to watch. While Fickell and his staff are focusing on the future, they haven’t forgotten about next season either. Keep an eye out for last-minute additions as the season gets closer.
