Nick Herbig is going to the NFL
It’s always nice for college football fans to see their team’s players go to the NFL. The more players a program puts in the NFL, the easier it is to recruit elite players. However, some of the best players leave their schools with eligibility left. Nick Herbig announced on Saturday that he would be leaving Wisconsin after three years.
Herbig had a great season with the Badgers. The outside linebacker earned All-Big Ten honors for his play in 2022. The Badgers team captain was named Wisconsin’s MVP this season. Before the season, Herbig was predicted to land in the draft’s fourth round. His stock likely went up after this season.
