The Green Bay Packers kept their playoff hopes alive and well today in Miami. After a thrilling 26-20 win vs the Dolphins, the Packers moved to 7-8. They now have the same record as the Seahawks and the Lions, the only two teams between them and the seventh seed. The Washington Commanders (7-7-1) currently sit in that seventh seed. The win, however, didn’t come easy for the Packers as they had to come back from a 20-10 deficit in the first half. Miami Dolphins’ head coach was feeling himself in the first half. and was even seen laughing at Aaron Rodgers at one point.
Mike McDaniels Seen Laughing At Aaron Rodgers After Dolphins Called Timeout
Late in the first half the Packers were attempting to take advantage of a turnover. During a third and 10 Aaron Rodgers attempted to catch the Dolphins with too many men on the field. Before Rodgers could get the snap off, McDaniels called a timeout to prevent the penalty and free play. He was then seen laughing on the sidelines:

The Packers ended up getting a field goal before halftime and went into the locker room down 20-13. Green Bay would go on to score 13 more unanswered points and take home the win 26-20. The Packers will need to overtake the Commanders, Seahawks, and Lions over the last three weeks of the season. The Lions will be overtaken as long as Green Bay wins out (Detroit travels to Lambeau in Week 18). Green Bay will need the Commanders to lose one of their final two remaining games to sneak into the playoffs. Next week the Packers will host the 12-3 Vikings at Lambeau Field. That will (obviously) be a must-win game for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers if want to continue this improbable playoff push.
