It was a rough night for a former Packers offensive lineman
The Chicago Bears’ offensive line looked a lot better with a former Packers offensive lineman playing at the center position. Lucas Patrick, who signed with the Bears this offseason, had been playing offensive guard for the Bears. He’s struggled in that position this season. The Bears have been playing Patrick at guard because he returned from a hand injury he sustained in training camp.
The Bears moved Patrick to center against the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. The switch appeared to work for Patrick and the Bears, as the team moved the ball well early Monday night. On the Bears’ second drive of the game, Patrick sustained a toe injury.

The former Packers offensive lineman wouldn’t return to the game. ESPN cameras showed Patrick being taken away from the field to have his toe looked at.

The Bears have not released any more news about Patrick’s status. This injury would be a major one for the Bears if he has to be sidelined. The Bears would go one to beat the Patriots 33-14 without the Former Packers offensive lineman. The Bears improved their overall record to 3-4.
