AJ Brown was one of the big-name wide receivers who made it publicly known that he would sit out off-season programs until his contract situation was resolved. AJ Brown is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is projected to make over $20 million per year on his next one. The Titans general manager, John Robinson, has been adamant about Tennessee not trading Brown. He has said publicly on more than one occasion that the Titans are working on a long-term deal. However AJ Brown may not feel the same. A series of recent tweets by the star wide receiver has some questioning if he wants to stay in Tennessee:

It is clear that AJ Brown is receiving backlash for holding out this off-season. Most likely this is coming from fans on the Internet, however current or past teammates is not out of the question.
The Titans and Brown appear to be at an impasse in contract negotiations, as Deebo Samule leaked the Titans wont up their offer of $20 million per year for Brown — who can get more with the reset wide receiver market. Samuel and Brown are both represented by the same agent (Tory Dandy), so there’s more than just words coming out of Samuel’s mouth.
What would a trade like this look like?
AJ Brown is one of the best players in the league under 25 years old (he’s 24). If it came to the point where the Titans are going to trade him, they are going to ask for a Devante Adams/Tyreek Hill type of deal. This on top of the long-term contract, makes it a hefty price for Brown. Here’s what we predict this type of trade would look like:
Packers receive:
- WR AJ Brown
- 2023 fourth round pick
Titans receive:
- 2022 first AND second round pick
- 2022 fourth round pick
- 2023 first round pick
It is certainly going to take a number of premium draft picks to land AJ Brown. Similar to what the 49ers are predicted to ask for Deebo Samuel. This type of trade would still leave Green Bay with two premium picks this year as well as a star wide receiver of the future. If Aaron Rodgers happens to stick around longer than the two or three years currently projected, brown would be his guy for years to come.
