We are two months removed from the Green Bay Packers trading star wide receiver Davante Adams. Davante Adams was on a trajectory to possibly be in the NFL Hall of Fame. Now he will be in Vegas with Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders.
We are almost one month removed from Green Bay trading up to pick Christian Watson in the 2022 NFL draft. The Green Bay Packers have also added wide receivers Sammy Watkins, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Touree this off-season. It still feels as though Green Bay could use a true number one weapon at the wide receiver position.
Deebo Samuel for Aaron Jones?
Aaron Jones is set to count for over $20 million against the cap in 2023. Deebo Samuel is looking to make over $20 million annually with his new contract. The San Francisco 49ers have Elijah Mitchell and Jeff Wilson on their depth chart for RB. Neither one come close to Aaron Jones. The Green Bay Packers have Alan Lazard listed as their WR1 currently… who doesn’t come close to Deebo Samuel. This trade would not only make sense for both sides, but would fill a need for both teams.
AJ Dillon has turned into a true RB1 and has shown the work he can do on the ground. While Aaron Jones would be missed on the ground, the Green Bay Packers could utilize Deebo Samuel like they did Aaron Jones. On top of that it would give them a true perimeter threats at the wide receiver position. While I understand these blockbuster trades rarely happen, we have seen a plethora of them this off-season. This is another one that would make sense for both parties involved.

McQuade Arnold is a freaking dummy who doesn’t have a clue about how football works. We do not need a freaking trade. We have all the pieces if it is just shut up and wait
