There has been plenty of noise recently about an article regarding Aaron Rodgers and his hand signals. In short, the article claims that Rodgers’ hand signals are confusing for receivers and there is no clear communication on what the signals even mean.
Rodgers was not too fond of the article, to say the least. Later calling it “the dumbest, nothing burger article that I’ve read in the entire season.” He continued by saying, “Ninety-five percent of the article is complete horses–t. The other five percent is exaggerated nothingness.”
However, Rodgers did say that nothing could top the ‘COVID toe‘ article from last year.
Shannon Sharpe Puts Aaron Rodgers On Blast
On Wednesday, during an episode of “Undisputed,” Shannon Sharpe was asked if he believed Rodgers or thought there was some truth to the article.
“So let me get this straight, should I believe a proven liar or former and current players that are willing to go on the record,” Sharpe said.
“So, who should I believe?” Sharpe continued. “A guy that’s a proven liar. But if Aaron Rodgers came to me right now and says ‘Shannon don’t go outside, the sky’s falling,’ I’m a dead mofo cause the sky gon drop on my head, because I don’t believe anything he says.”
“I believe everything that was written in this article, I believe it,” Sharpe said. “Guess what, ain’t no ‘sources said’ or ‘this here said,’ these guys got their name on it! They got eight, nine guys that got their name on it! And so now I’m going to believe Aaron Rodgers?”
Seems a little harsh. I’ll go out on a limb and say Shannon Sharpe doesn’t appear to be an Aaron Rodgers fan. However, you have to ‘hand’ it to Shannon Sharpe, at least he’s being honest.
