It appears to most ESPN reporters that Seattle hasn’t received the “right” offer for DK Metcalf. It has been reported all off-season that D.K. Metcalf is possibly available for trade.
According to Seahawks reporter Brady Henderson, seven trade exercises were ran where they attempted to shop Metcalf. The trade that came closest to being accepted was the Jets offering pick #10 and #69. “Based on my reporting, I’d guess that they would view something in the neighborhood of two firsts at the minimum for Metcalf.”
In this, from @BradyHenderson: Seahawks want “something in the neighborhood of two firsts as the minimum” for DK Metcalf. https://t.co/AJXN4bRB7p

Green Bay is sitting with picks #22 and #28 in this years’ draft. There is plenty of depth at offensive line, wide receiver, and safety (the three presumed targeted positions early in the draft). If Green Bay wants to trade for a 24 year old wide receiver of the future this is their chance.
Furthermore it is hard to imagine Green Bay giving up all that draft capital for one player. It is one thing to be willing to pay Davante Adams; but it is another thing to give up draft capital in-addition-to paying someone who doesn’t have a rapport with Rodgers. The Packers simply will not trade two firsts for any player that isn’t a QB.
