The Packers are reeling after their brutal 27-22 loss to the New York Giants in London. From questionable play calling to players not executing, it seemed to be all bad in the second half. Today Matt LaFleur was asked about the defensive side of the ball, and he had a lot to say.
Matt LaFleur Sounds Off About Urgency On Defense
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the urgency to line up and play needs to be better on defense. Said some of the crossing routes were completed because they weren’t quite set on defense. LaFleur went on to say he told DC Joe Barry to be careful with exotic pressures against the #Giants because of their ability to get the ball to Saquon Barkley in the passing game. He said two of their sacks were nullified by penalty.
I actually disagree. I heard a guy taking bullets for a WHOLE lot of other people. I respect that. We have no idea what's being said behind closed doors. https://t.co/8GXvtKVQXp
