Randall Cobb hurt during Jets game
The Green Bay Packers had several injuries at wide receiver heading into their Week 6 game against the New York Jets. The Packers elevated Juwann Winfree after news broke this week that rookie Christian Watson was ruled out with a hamstring injury. The Packers didn’t need any more injuries with that unit. Unfortunately, Randall Cobb had to leave the Jets game.
According to a statement by the Packers, Cobb has an ankle injury and was ruled questionable to return against the Jets.

Randall Cobb was seen being carted off the field. He appeared to have tears as he left the Jets game Sunday.

The injury caused the Packers to shuffle their rotation. Second-year wide receiver Amari Rodgers saw snaps in the second half with Cobb out. Winfree had several plays as well. This is a concerning injury with the Packers’ lack of depth at wide receiver. The team is trailing heading into the fourth quarter.
