The Green Bay Packers confirmed the status of linebacker Quay Walker after his unfortunate injury against the Chicago Bears Sunday. The Packers saw two players leave the game after scoring touchdowns against the Bears. Walker was one of them.
Running back Aaron Jones dominated on the ground. However, a hamstring injury knocked him out of the game in the third quarter. The Packers are still evaluating how severe Jones’ injury is.
Walker recorded a pick-6 of Justin Fields in the fourth quarter to essentially ice the victory for the Packers. However, Walker received a blow to the head near the goal line by Bears rookie right tackle Darnell Wright. Walker left the game as the Packers evaluated him for a concussion.
Bears 225-pound rookie RB Roschon Johnson (23) tried lowering the boom on Quay Walker after his INT.

It’s unclear how severe Walker’s injury is. But with the NFL taking concussions seriously, he could miss some time. Walker will have several steps to pass before he can play again for the Packers.
