Would Joey Porter Jr. Fit on the Packers?
The Packers are pretty deep at the cornerback position. Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes, and Rasul Douglas occupy the top three spots on the depth chart. However, depth is never a bad thing especially with Stokes coming off an injury. GM Brian Gutekunst is not one to make many trades but picking up Porter Jr. could make Stokes or Douglas tradeable for another piece.
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
The ability of Porter Jr. to make plays on the ball is what would be most intriguing for the Packers. The push at the end of the season for the Packers was fueled by turnovers by the defense. Teams would not be able to avoid Porter Jr. on the Packers as they did in college. Alexander and Douglas love making plays on the ball and Porter Jr. would fit right in. Cornerback is not a need but if Porter Jr. is there at no. 15, the Packers might give him a look.
