In case you haven’t heard by now, the Romeo Doubs hype train is real. The fifth round rookie draft pick seems to be catching everything that comes near him at training camp. As Randall Cobb stated, he is going up and getting those 50-50 balls. According to wide receiver Allen Lazard, that is exactly how you gain Aaron Rodgers’ trust. However today in Romeo Doubs made a play that had teammates reacting.
Romeo Doubs Beats CBs, Watson reacts:
Once again today’s practice was littered with Romeo Doubs content. First was a play against Rico Gafford:
Holy moly what a grab by Romeo Doubs in the back right corner of the end zone through contested coverage during a close red-zone period. Perfect touch pass from Jordan Love and Doubs touched both feet right in front of us. Ref threw a DPI flag on Rico Gafford, too.
The second is what got Christian Watson to react:
Packers just did 25 1-on-1s between WRs/TEs and CBs/safeties with Rodgers and Love throwing. Will have notes on each in today’s story, but highlight came on 25th rep. Romeo Doubs burned Eric Stokes down the right sideline for a TD from Rodgers. Stokes slammed his helmet after.
Christian Watson Reacted To The Play:
Legendary Packers team photog Evan Siegle captured the celebration between Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson after the play described below, Doubs’ win against Eric Stokes on the last WR vs. CB 1-on-1 rep. https://t.co/skz5E3yZRg pic.twitter.com/zPCBsiHRFh

You love seeing teammates hype each other up. However, when it’s two rookies, it makes it pretty special. Doubs is winning, and winning against GOOD NFL CBs. These are the type of players that can help Green Bay overcome what was lost in the off-season. A whole new wide receiver room, and each of them have something to prove. It’s creates for incredible competition.
