Lambeau field will look a little different Sunday night
Lambeau Field will host an important game Sunday night. The Green Bay Packers will play the Detroit Lions with the final spot for the NFC Wild Card on the line. It also might be the last game some Packers will play in Green Bay. The field will have a new design honoring Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin for Sunday night’s game.
Hamlin was given CPR following a tackle he made on Monday Night Football. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was placed in critical condition. Hamlin’s condition has appeared to improve over the week. As of Friday, he Facetimed his teammates. The Packers and other NFL teams have shown Hamlin respect throughout the week.
The Packers will honor Hamlin Sunday night by making a slight tweak to their home field’s grass. A post from the Packers’ Twitter account showed the “3” had a blue outline for the 30-yard line. (Hamlin wears the number 3 three jersey for the Bills.)

It’s a nice gesture from the Packers before their biggest game of the regular season. Every NFL will have some tribute for Hamlin on Sunday.
