(Watch) Video Catches Lions Rookie Signing Expletive Ridden Message On An Aaron Rodgers Jersey

A Lions rookie made an interesting decision on camera

A Detroit Lions rookie gave the Green Bay Packers some bulletin board material for Sunday night. The Packers don’t need much extra motivation; they must beat the Lions on SNF to advance into the playoffs. The Lions also need a win to get in, but they need help from the Seattle Seahawks. The divisional rivalry had plenty of gasoline poured on the fire this week.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made some derogatory comments about the Lions after they beat Green Bay in Detroit early this year. However, this week Rodgers credited a Lions team that has been playing much better football since that game. Lions Safety DeShon Elliott called out Rodgers for allegedly disrespecting Detroit’s franchise. More disrespect from the Lions’ locker room has come to the public’s attention before the game Sunday.

Barstool Detroit shared a video of a Lions fan coming to have an Aaron Rodgers jersey signed. The fan said Houston needed to make a big sack on Rodgers late in the game. Then the fan asked Lions rookie edge rusher James Houston to sign the jersey with the inscription: “Fuck you cheeseheads.”

Houston seemed giddy at the proposition and obliged on camera.

The rookie better back that up…

I’d like to hear what his teammates have to say after that video went viral. Houston better back that statement on Sunday, or the locker room won’t be happy with that video being passed around to delighted Packers fans next week.

Houston has had a great rookie campaign for the 8-8 Lions. Houston, a 6th-round draft pick, comes into Week 18 with eight sacks and a forced fumble. (That’s half a sack more than the Lions’ 2022 first-round pick, Aiden Hutchinson, has this season.)

After that comment, Houston will be on Rodgers’ radar Sunday night. One would expect Rodgers to cook something up to make the Lions rookie look foolish Sunday.
