The Green Bay Packers 2022 season will be one with a little bit of a different roster. As they have traded away wide receiver Davante Adams during the offseason and tried to find a replacement by getting some more depth on their roster at the position. Today, we are going to dive into Green Bay’s schedule and decide where we should expect them to end up this season.
With soccer happening right now, now is as good of a time as ever to get involved with some Champions League betting. However, it’s never too early to look into the NFL season. Let’s look at the Green Bay Packers to figure out how they will look this season.
What to Expect from the Packers 2022 Season
The Good
There is some good that comes from looking at the Green Bay Packers schedule; they play a few easier divisions this season. They play both the AFC and NFC East this year, so they should be able to feast on those two divisions to really bolster the team’s records.
They also have back-to-back NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers coming back and is one of the greatest regular-season quarterbacks in the sport.
He finished with a remarkable 7.0 touchdown percentage, meaning seven percent of all of his passes were touchdowns. Rodgers led the league in touchdown percentage, interception percentage, quarterback rating, QBR, and adjusted net passing yards per attempt last season.
Their defense also did a pretty solid job as they were ninth in the NFL with 328.2 total yards per game and were tied for 13th in the sport with 21.8 points per game allowed. They addressed the defense in the NFL Draft to try to improve there.

The Bad
To say Davante Adams was Aaron Rodgers’ favorite receiver would be a complete understatement, as 37.7 percent of his yardage and 29.7 percent of the touchdowns last season were thrown to Adams.
Now, Rodgers is likely to see a bit of a drop in his numbers without a true top-tier wide receiver option. They added wide receiver Sammy Watkins in the offseason while also drafting wide receivers Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure to help the depth.
The best that the Packers can do is replace some of his production as they now do not have a wide receiver, one option that will get the best of some of the best cornerbacks in the sport.
The Packers’ schedule includes games against the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They all have good to great defenses and should be able to give Green Bay some trouble.
Conclusion
Barring an unforeseen injury to Aaron Rodgers, there is no way that the Green Bay Packers will not win the NFC North as they have, by far, the best talent on their roster. The Packers have the 22nd ranked strength of schedule as their opponents combined for a 137-150-2 record (.478 winning percentage).
I do not see them being the top seed in the NFC once the regular season concludes due to glaring holes on their roster, but they still are better than the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, and Chicago Bears.
The Packers have a chance to win 10-12 games this season, and that should mean a playoff berth with a home game at Lambeau Field. After what has happened in their recent playoff history, I am not going to say this team will go on a run as they seem to be built for regular-season dominance but have failed to do much in the postseason.
Without an elite wide receiver option, the Packers are going to have a bunch of twos and threes as wide receivers, with Christian Watson, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Sammy Watkins all running routes and making up for the offense that Adams lost.
This Packers squad is an elite team that should still have the NFC North under their fingertips.
