    You read that heading right…

Nearly one-third of the Green Bay Packers’ 53-man squad appeared on their first injury reports of Week 10.

The Packers had 17 players on their injured reserve list, including ten who couldn’t participate in practice on Wednesday.

After last week’s tough loss to the Detroit Lions, the Green Bay Packers are set to host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Here are the nine other DNPS on Wednesday: offensive tackle David Bakhtiari (knees), linebacker Krys Barnes(concussions), linebacker De’Vonnbe Campbell (knees), wideout Romeo Douglas (ankles), defensive back Shemar Jean-Charles(ankles), right guard Elgin Jenkins (knees), quarterback Aaron Rodgers (thumb), cornerback Eric Stokes (knees/ankles) and wideout Sammy Watkins (knees).

Kicker Mason Crosby, cornerback Rasul Douglas, running back Aaron Jones, receiver Allen Lazard, right tackle Jon Runyan, and outside linebacker Preston Smith were all out for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys due to injuries.

The Packers have made a move to sign safety Johnathan Abram off waivers to shore up the secondary.

Other promising news is that Christian Watson participated in practice despite being listed in the injury report.

Among the 17 players listed on the injury report for Week 10, ten are rookies.

The Packers will play one game next week, so their priority is to get healthy enough to have a functioning football team against the formidable Cowboys.
