Injury report

You read that heading right… Nearly one-third of the Green Bay Packers’ 53-man squad appeared on their first injury reports of Week 10. The Packers had 17 players on their injured reserve list, including ten who couldn’t participate in practice on Wednesday. After last week’s tough loss to the Detroit Lions, the Green Bay Packers are set to host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Here are the nine other DNPS on Wednesday: offensive tackle David Bakhtiari (knees), linebacker Krys Barnes(concussions), linebacker De’Vonnbe Campbell (knees), wideout Romeo Douglas (ankles), defensive back Shemar Jean-Charles(ankles), right guard Elgin Jenkins (knees),…

Green Bay Packer Memes 30

It’s no secret that the Antetokounmpo brothers are very close. From securing citizenship in Greece after fleeing Nigeria, selling items on the streets to support the family, and playing basketball together on local youth teams. Their story is so compelling that Disney released a movie to tell it. But the brother’s “closeness” was on full display last night when Thanasis decided to pick Giannis’ nose before the start of the first regular season game. You read that right… He picked Giannis’ nose…with both hands… Watch the short clip and enjoy a good cringe; View this post on Instagram …

It’s certainly not “R-E-L-A-X,” the message Aaron Rodgers shared after the Green Bay Packer’s 1-2 start to the 2014 season. But, after considering retirement in the 2022 offseason and experimenting with alternative career paths, the message Rodgers shared regarding his future with the Packers should offer some relief. During an interview on Wednesday, Rodgers was asked if he still enjoyed being with the packers and playing football. To which he replied; “I wake up in the morning thinking about this. I go to bed at night dreaming about what plays I can make up to piss Matt off. This has been…

The Associated Press has dropped the voter who refused to select Aaron Rodgers as NFL MVP due to his refusal to get vaccinated. The publisher of Pro Football Weekly, Hub Arkush, called Rodgers a “jerk” last season after the quarterback revealed that he was not vaccinated. New voting members will be joining the AP this season due to retirements and deaths, but the AP noted that Arkush violated the rules after revealing who he would (or would not) vote for. In his January interview on Chicago’s 670 The Score, Arkush recognized that Rodgers would likely win the MVP vote but…

packers wide receiver trade rumors

With the November 1st trade deadline looming, multiple sources say a wideout is the Green Bay Packer’s primary target. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, multiple GM’s are “certain” that the Packers are hunting a wide receiver to shore up its inexperienced and injured receiving core. This news, combined with trade rumors surrounding Robbie Anderson of the Carolina Panthers, a hopeful return of Sammy Watkins from a hamstring problem, and the Packer’s decision to work out free agent wide receiver Ty Fryfogle on Tuesday, shows just how serious Green Bay’s front office can be when the season is getting out of…

packers offensive line performance

There were plenty of reasons to be upset during the Packer’s Week 6 game against the New York Jets. The dominoes kept falling from a limited increase in running plays, the defense’s inability to stop the run, and small but costly special teams’ mistakes. But perhaps the most notable was how poor the offensive line performed throughout all four quarters. It seemed as though every play consisted of at least one defensive lineman or linebacker getting enough penetration to disrupt the play. Well, that feeling has been confirmed with one of the most gut-wrenching montage videos you’ll ever see. A…

colin cowherd on the green bay packers

“When you’re sort of committed to football, this is what it looks like.” Once again, Colin Cowherd spent a full 4-minute monologue, laying into Matt Lafleur, Aaron Rodgers, and the Green Bay Packer franchise. Cowherd is an all-time great Packer’s hater who has had brainless take after brainless take. But, for all his horrible hot takes, Cowherd delivers some insights worth listening to. For instance, I wrote a few weeks ago about Colin’s support of the Packers signing Odell Beckham Jr. Still, a fantastic idea in my humble opinion. And today, the host of The Herd delivered yet another insightful…

The end to another Packer’s loss felt a little more painful after a New York Jet player trolled Packer players and fans by celebrating the win while wearing a classic foam cheesehead. After the atrocious 27-10 loss Sunday, Jets Cornerback Sauce Gardner jogged up and down the sideline wearing a cheesehead. His decision to wear it during post-game interviews may have hit Packers fans harder than the loss itself.
