NFL rumors: Tom Brady retired for a second time earlier this year, and while it was not as dramatic as when he did it the first time, there’s no denying that it was still a sad day for football. This is probably why some fans have still been hoping for a potential comeback for the GOAT this coming season.
Well, it doesn’t sound like this is going to be happening.
NFL Rumors: Tom Brady ‘Retired For Good’

According to a source from the Daily Mail, Tom Brady won’t be coming back to the NFL. He’s already done this once in the past and the seven-time Super Bowl champion has no intention of going through it all over again.
In a similar yet also totally different light, Colin Kaepernick’s comeback bid has likewise been doused with ice-cold water by the same source:
“Even with the recent injury to Joe Burrow and the likelihood of other NFL QBs getting injured this season, there is no scenario, where even if and when talked about, that Colin Kaepernick and Tom Brady would come and fill those voids and sign with an NFL team this season,” the source said.
Unlike Brady, however, Kaepernick is still gunning for a return to the NFL years after his unceremonious exit. However, it seems like there’s still no room for Kaep in the league.
“Tom is retired for good, he’s done and Colin, no matter how many workouts he does for teams or private workouts he does with current players, no team is signing him, and no team is signing them,” the source added.
“Every team has its backups and is clearly not hoping for injury, but when and if it occurs there will be no attempt to ask either player to join their team, it is just not going to happen. GMs will look elsewhere.”
There you have it. So, for fans who have been longing for a sensational Tom Brady (and Colin Kaepernick comeback), this particular source has just unequivocally stated that it’s just not happening.
NFL Rumors: Packers are in Good Hands

Speaking of quarterbacks, there’s also a significant transition going on within the Green Bay Packers. Brady’s long-time rival, Aaron Rodgers, has moved on to greener pastures and has decided to take his talents to the New York Jets. This has opened up the offense for Jordan Love, who is now set to embark on his first season as Green Bay’s cornerstone quarterback. Big things are expected from the young QB, and based on what we’ve seen from him in the offseason thus far, it appears as though this dude is going to live up to all the hype.
