The Green Bay Packers received more troubling injury news Monday on a starting pass rusher for the defense. The Packers saw two offensive players, tight end Tyler Davis (ACL), and offensive tackle Luke Tenuta, sustained injuries that will keep them sidelined for a while.
Head coach Matt LaFleur said Sunday the other injuries sustained during the Packers’ victory over the Cincinnati Bengals were minor.
Green Bay Packers DE Kenny Clark is battling an injury

One recent injury caused a key player to miss practice Monday. According to Matt Schneidman with The Athletic, defensive end Kenny Clark sustained a back injury. He did not practice Monday.

It’s unclear how severe Clark’s back injury is.
The Packers’ defense is still waiting for Rashan Gary to return to team drills. Gary is expected to be back in time for the Packers’ Week 1 game against the Chicago Bears. If he’s unable to participate in practice soon, one has to wonder how effective he’ll be as a pass rusher for the full game against the Bears.

Clark’s injury throws in more doubt for the Packers’ defensive line.
The Packers drafted Lukas Van Ness to be their future Edge. They also hoped Devonte Wyatt would have a breakout season in his second season in the NFL. Wyatt has performed well during practice at training camp, but he and Van Ness struggled against the Bengals.
Wyatt and Van Ness were graded by Pro Football Focus as two of the five worst Packers defenders Friday night.
