A Green Bay Packers rival wide receiver has reportedly pleaded down to a lesser charge stemming from an incident this summer. According to WSH Media files, rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison was allegedly clocked by the Minnesota State Patrol driving 140 miles per hour in a 55 MPH zone.
One of the charges against Addison from the incident was reckless driving.

According to Keven Seifert with ESPN, Addison plead guilty to a misdemeanor speeding charge:
Minnesota Vikings rookie receiver Jordan Addison has agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor speeding charge stemming from his July 20 citation for driving 140 mph on a local freeway, according to an agreement filed Wednesday with the Ramsey County District Court.
As part of the agreement, a second charge of reckless driving will be dismissed. Addison agreed to pay a total of $686 in fines and fees. The plea will be presented for approval in a Sept. 19 hearing in front of judge Maria Mitchell.
The Minnesota Vikings addressed Jordan Addison’s incident
The Vikings chose Addison as the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. He’s expected to be an explosive wideout alongside star wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
Following July’s citation, Addison accepted responsibility for the incident and issued a public apology. Per multiple reports, the Vikings addressed the incident. It doesn’t appear like Addison will miss any time playing in the regular season due to the traffic violation.
