One of the biggest questions of the Green Bay Packers offseason was the future of Mason Crosby. Would he return to Green Bay for a 17th season or would the Packers move on? Well, the front office all-but-answered that question when they drafted Anders Carlson in the 2023 NFL Draft.
That move spelled the end of the Crosby Era in Green Bay. He ends his time with the Packers as their all-time leading scorer and a Super Bowl Champion. Still, there were some who questioned whether or not the front office might still bring him back.
Mason Crosby Will Not Return to the Green Bay Packers
Earlier this offseason, Mason Crosby’s wife, Molly Crosby, confirmed their departure from Green Bay in a response to a Tweet authored by Simone Biles. Biles, the wife of newly signed safety Jonathan Owens, asked for recommendations regarding where to eat, shop, and enjoy life in city of Green Bay.
In response, Molly Crosby stated that she and her family just ended a 16-year run in the city and that they would miss it terribly. Even though the front office and Crosby himself have not ruled out a future reunion at some point, Carlson appears to be the kicker going forward.

For his part, Crosby is still open to joining another team. The Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos have been suggested as possible landing spots.
Earlier today, Mrs. Crosby responded to a question from a fan asking if their family would still return to Green Bay for Packers-related events. This was her response:

“Eventually the truth will sink in.” That is as final a statement as one could make. The Crosby’s will not be returning, at least with Mason as a rostered player.
It was a great run, and hopefully the Crosby children will be okay with their permanent move. The family did sell their home in Green Bay and are, presumably, residing in Crosby’s native state of Texas.
