NFL News: The Green Bay Packers are in the midst of a franchise-altering off-season. After 31 years someone not named Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers will be under center for week one of the NFL season. Love is entering his fourth year in the league after sitting behind legendary Aaron Rodgers for the first three years of his career. The Packers, however, aren’t the only team in the NFC North that is going through a massive transition. The Minnesota Vikings have lost a number of key players. Dalvin Cook and Adam Theilen will both be on different teams next year, and there is growing possibility of a major Danielle Hunter trade.
Dalvin Cook Likes Tweet That Indicates He Would Play For The New England Patriots (NFL News)

Over the weekend, Dalvin Cook retweeted a clip from the “Pat McAfee Show” as it engaged in a discussion centering around why Cook would be a good fit in New England. In the clip, Michael Lombardi – who is a long-time associate of Patriots boss Bill Belichick – explains why the Patriots should pursue him.
“I actually believe Dalvin Cook would be a better fit than (DeAndre Hopkins) for them (Patriots),” Lombardi said. “They need another back back there and I think Cook is one of those really good, change of pace, catch a screen go a long way, I think he will make a huge difference for the Patriots’ offense with (Rhamondre) Stevenson.”
Dalvin Cook Can Wait To Sign With New Team

According to Dov Kleiman, Cook can wait out negotiations due to the $2 million he has coming from the Vikings this season:
“Cook’s representatives are keen on securing a deal that reflects his value and contributions on the field. While the negotiations could progress swiftly, Cook is also in a position to bide his time, given that he already has $2 million guaranteed from the Vikings after being released from his previous contract.”
That’s a pretty sweet deal for Cook. The Jets, Dolphins, Broncos, and Cowboys, or Patriots didn’t want to give up draft capital in a trade with the Vikings. But the bidding war itself will be costly. We’ll see which team will risk their cash on the 27-year-old star. Cook still appears to be worth a sizable contract, as he ran for over 1,100 yards and nearly earned 300 more in the passing game last season. He found the end zone ten times as well for the NFC North-winning Vikings in the 2022 campaign.
