The Green Bay Packers enter 2023 as a team most think will be horrible without Aaron Rodgers, but a few players will still have a good fantasy year. Contrary to belief, Jordan Love has been excellent in training camp, and the team brass feels they can still win the NFC North this year. But from a fantasy aspect, who should you be targeting, and who is someone that everyone is overlooking? Sit back, relax, and let’s dive into who you should keep an eye on in 2023.
#1. Green Bay Packers Running Back Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones is a player that will have a monster season in 2023. I see Love using the check down often this year, and Jones will likely receive those check downs. Last year he rushed 213 times for 1,121 yards and two TDs. He also caught 59 passes for 395 yards and 5 TDs. Jones’s involvement in the offense will likely increase this year as Love becomes more confident throwing down the field to his young receivers. I can see him posting Austin Ekeler-like numbers this season for Matt LaFleur.
#2. Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Christian Watson

Watson had a productive rookie season, despite playing second fiddle to Allen Lazard, who is now in New York with Aaron Rodgers. Romeo Doubs is the only receiver on this team that will pose a threat to his target volume. In 14 games last year, he had 41 receptions for 611 yards and 7 TDs. Watson also carried the ball seven times for 80 yards and 2 TDs. Jordan Love will likely utilize Watson as his security blanket in the passing game, and Watson’s volume will likely skyrocket this year. Look for him to finish the season with over 1,000 yards receiving and double-digit touchdowns.
#1. Green Bay Packers Tight End Luke Musgrave

Yep, you read that right! It’s a risky call, but at 6’6″ and 253 lbs, Musgrave is an absolute beast, and that is why Green Bay drafted him 59th in the NFL Draft. After being compared to Darren Waller, you can bet LaFleur will make him an integral part of their offensive strategy. Despite his massive size, Musgrave has 4.61 speed, which Love will take full advantage of in 2023. If the Packers utilize him as they should, he could easily be a top-25 Fantasy TE.
