Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers may have had a tough day against the New England Patriots during their joint practice session on Thursday, but yet another opposing player has walked away from the field impressed with the young quarterback.
While some NFL analysts and sports talk show hosts, such as Colin Cowherd, are using their platforms to criticize and demean Love and the Packers, it is interesting to note that opposing players, from two different teams now, have walked away from joint practices with nothing but good things to say about the 2020 NFL Draft pick.
After the Packers and Bengals held a joint practice last week, Cincinnati defensive lineman DJ Reader (who got in a fight with Elgton Jenkins) had nothing but praise for Love. Germaine Pratt, a Bengals linebacker, said: “I think he’ll be a great player.”
Now, a Patriots’ linebacker is joining the list of opposing players with nothing but good things to say about Love.
New England Patriots Linebacker Matthew Judon Has High Praise for Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love

If there is any linebacker in the AFC that can honestly evaluate a quarterback after doing his best to make their life difficult, it is Matthew Judon. A seven-year veteran, Judon has made the Pro Bowl four seasons in a row and has 28 combined sacks in the last two seasons.
After Thursday’s practice, Judon told reporters:
“He’s a good kid, very calm, composed. I think he’s going to be a great leader for this organization, a good player. We all can see the arm talent. He’s got some nice arm talent.”
As was the case when Love received praise from Bengals defenders, Judon has nothing to gain from saying good things about the Packers starting quarterback. When Love’s teammates and coaches praised his growth, talent, and leadership, many argued that it was because they were just supporting their teammate.
Judon does not have that excuse. Due to this, it can only be concluded that what he said is genuine and true.
As is the case with any first-year starter, there will be growing pains with Jordan Love under center. But that does not mean the season cannot be successful and the future is not bright.
All aboard the Love Train!
