Rodgers’ injury came after he saw multiple pressures on his first-ever drive for the Jets after being traded to New York from the Green Bay Packers. The Packers need Rodgers to play 65 percent of the Jets offensive snaps to receive a 2024 first-round pick from New York. Any fewer than 65 percent and the Packers will receive the Jets 2024 second-round pick.
The x-ray being negative is a good sign for the Jets and Packers. However, Rodgers will miss at least the rest of Monday night’s game. And even if the x-ray is negative, he could have another injury that could take time to heal.
