NBA news: There was a lot of buzz surrounding a potential reunion between LeBron James and Kyrie Irving of late. Well, that all died after Irving agreed to a massive extension with the Dallas Mavericks, thereby eliminating the possibility of the two former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates linking up again — at least for now.
NBA News: LeBron James Adamant Kyrie Irving Has Best Handles ‘Ever’
For his part, LeBron hasn’t been very discreet when it comes to sharing his true feelings about Irving. To be fair, these two are good friends, and it isn’t uncommon for buddies to sing each other’s praises.
This is exactly what the Lakers superstar did on Sunday as he took to Instagram to share just how highly he thinks of Kyrie’s handles:

That’s some GOAT-level praise right there, and it is abundantly clear that LeBron still holds Irving in very high regard.
The trolls on Twitter were in full force as they clowned the NBA’s all-time leading scorer for his latest Kyrie commendation:

To be fair, there were more than a few tweets out there that were in complete agreement with LeBron’s hot take. Then again, there were nearly as many that disagreed.
NBA News: Kyrie Irving Blames Bucks For Nets’ Downfall
For his part, Kyrie Irving does have a bit of history with the Milwaukee Bucks. As a matter of fact, it was only a couple of months ago that the Mavs point guard threw a bit of shade on Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co.
According to Irving, he has “no doubt” in his mind that his Brooklyn Nets would have prevailed against the Bucks in the 2001 playoffs if only he didn’t get injured:
One of the most disappointing and painful moments of career. If I don’t get hurt that series, every single one of us on that Brooklyn team/bandwagon would be Champions.
