Recently the Milwaukee Brewers sent three prospects to the Futures Game. Among that group was international signees Jackson Chourio and Jeferson Quero, and 2022 second round selection Jacob Misiorowski. Jacob Misirowski ended up being the star of the game as he threw 10 out of his 11 fastballs at 100+ MPH and struck out the side on three off speed pitches.
Following the Minor League All-Star break the Brewers announced that they were going to promote Jacob Misiorowski to Double-A. Prior to that he threw 26 innings in Low-A in which he struck out 45% of batters faced and 23 innings in High-A with a 26% strikeout rate.
With all the recent attention on this rising pitching prospect MLB Insider Robert Murray recently provided a bold statement surrounding Jacob Misiorowski.
MLB Insider Robert Murray believes that Jacob Misiorowski could debut for the Milwaukee Brewers this season.

“It’s unlikely, but it isn’t impossible that top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski debuts at some point this season. He was recently promoted to Double-A and while he’s still refining a few things, I had a talent evaluator recently tell me: ‘You know I’m not prone to hyperbole, but I legitimately think he has the best stuff in the minors.’ Whether he debuts in 2023 or 2024, the Brewers believe Misiorowski has the potential to be really, really good.”
As indicated it seems unlikely that Jacob Misiorowski would make his MLB debut in 2023, but anything is possible. Top prospects are getting called up quicker nowadays and with pitchers sometimes ‘wasting their bullets’ down in the minor leagues can come back to backfire on an organization later on.
Whenever Jacob Misiorowski ends up debuting for the Brewers he has the potential to be a star and make a major impact on the team.
