Milwaukee Brewers franchise icon Ryan Braun has been elected into the organization’s Walk of Fame. In 2022 he was inducted into the team’s Wall of Honor and the Walk of Fame is the next step up from that. This will include his own granite-shaped home plate set in the grounds around the stadium. An official ceremony will take place during a home game this coming season.
What are the requirements to be inducted into the Milwaukee Brewers Walk Of Fame?
According to the Brewers website Walk of Fame inductees are selected via a vote from media members and club executives. Each fall they receive a list of eligible individuals and are allowed to cast as many votes as they wish, or vote for no one. A candidate must receive “yes” votes from 65 percent of the responding electors to be inducted.
Who else is currently enshrined in the Milwaukee Brewers Walk Of Fame?
There are currently 22 members in the Brewers Walk Of Fame. They include Hank Aaron, Rollie Fingers, Paul Molitor and Robin Yount (2001); Cecil Cooper and Bud Selig (2002); Harry Dalton and Bob Uecker (2003); Jim Gantner and Gorman Thomas (2004); Harvey Kuenn and Don Money (2005); Eddie Mathews, Warren Spahn and John Quinn (2007); Lew Burdette (2010); Johnny Logan (2013); Teddy Higuera (2015); Joe Adcock (2016), Geoff Jenkins (2018) , Prince Fielder (2022) and Ben Sheets (2023).

Hard time forgetting the fiasco. Great hitter, be careful who you put on a pedestal.

He cheated and then he lied about it. A cheater and a liar.

This dude is not honorable. Far from it. Celebrating a lying cheat, no matter how good at baseball he was, is shameful.

I agree with the first poster, but I think it could be argued that he’s the best ever (he certainly had the most power by far). He was a great player and the Crew was lucky to have him. He may not have been the defender the other two were, but he was every bit as good a hitter.
