The Milwaukee Bucks will be looking to get back to winning ways on Wednesday night when they visit the Barclays Center to battle the Brooklyn Nets. The Bucks are coming off a disappointing Christmas Day loss to the New York Knicks, and they want to end their three-game stand in New York with a win.
Unfortunately for Milwaukee, they might need to do it without their best player available.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Injury Report Vs. Nets
The Bucks have already submitted their official injury report for Wednesday’s showdown and it includes a very prominent name. This comes in the form of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is currently listed as questionable to play due to a right calf injury.
Antetokounmpo has been on the injury report for the Bucks over the past few games with a right midfoot sprain, but he has been able to play through the same without issue. This calf injury may be new, though, and it’s possible that he may have sustained the knock on Monday against the Knicks.
It is also worth noting that apart from the calf problem, the Bucks have also listed “injury management” as an issue for Giannis, thereby adding more doubt to his availability against the Nets.
At this point, it sounds like Antetokounmpo is heading toward another game-time decision.
There are no other surprises on the injury report for the Bucks apart from Giannis. Jae Crowder is still out as he recovers from surgery on his left adductor. Right now, there is still no firm timetable for the veteran’s return to action.
