Despite dealing with a foot injury, Giannis Antetokounmpo still suited up for the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday against the Orlando Magic. The former back-to-back looked perfectly fine too, going off for 37 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, leading his team to a 118-114 win over the Magic.

As it turns out, however, Giannis is still dealing with the same issue on his foot, and it has now put his availability for Saturday’s clash against the New York Knicks into question.

The good news for Bucks fans is that Giannis is listed as probable to play against the Knicks. He is still nursing a right midfoot sprain, which he may have injured during Tuesday’s win over the San Antonio Spurs.

Be that as it may, the fact that Antetokounmpo is probable to play means that he should be good to go on Saturday. Giannis was initially listed as questionable to play against the Spurs, but he was still able to take the court. The probable tag is obviously a more optimistic designation for the seven-time All-Star.

We should get the final confirmation on his status closer to tip-off on Saturday.

If for some reason Giannis is unable to go, his next chance to suit up would be on Christmas Day in a rematch against the Knicks. That’s going to be a marquee matchup in Madison Square Garden so you can be sure that only a significant injury is going to hold Antetokounmpo back from that one.
