The Milwaukee Bucks had a long look at Tacko Fall this summer as a potential offseason recruit. They even signed the 7-foot-6 center as part of their Summer League squad. In five games, the 27-year-old averaged 6.4 points and 4.4 rebounds, which unfortunately for him, was not enough to earn him a roster spot for the upcoming season.
Tacko Fall Heading Back to China Amid Failed NBA Comeback Bid

According to NBA guru Shams Charania of The Athletic, Fall has decided to head back to China after being unable to sign a new contract with any NBA team this summer:
7'6 Tacko Fall is signing a new deal to return to China to play for the Nanjing Monkey Kings, sources say.

Fall wasn’t in the NBA last year either. He suited up for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers, also of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), last term where he averaged 13.8 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest. He now returns to the CBA for another season, but this time around, he’s going to be suiting up for a different team in the Nanjing Monkey Kings.
Tacko Fall’s Fascinating NBA Career

Tacko Fall started off his NBA career as an undrafted rookie for the Boston Celtics in 2019. He spent the first two years of his career with the C’s putting up averages of 2.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 6.5 minutes per game. The former Central Florida standout played just 26 games during the span of two seasons.
After his stint with the Celtics, Fall took his talents to the Cleveland Cavaliers where he played 11 games during the 2020-21 season. That was the last we saw of Fall in the league. Whether or not he will be able to return somewhere down the road currently remains to be seen.
