Milwaukee Bucks news: It was announced on Monday that TNT had decided to match Amazon’s $1.8 billion bid to the NBA for the league’s media coverage rights. This means that TNT will continue to provide nationwide coverage for the NBA beyond next season. In this light, Inside the NBA will also remain on air following rumors that the show would be shutting down.
One man who’s delighted to hear about this massive development is Giannis Antetokounmpo, who recently shared how big of a fan he is of the highly popular TNT basketball show as well as one of its hosts, Charles Barkley.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Giannis Antetokounmpo Shares Affinity to Inside the NBA
Giannis was one of a handful of players and celebrities who shared how much Inside the NBA means to them on a personal level. According to Antetokounmpo, this is one of the few programs he goes out of his way to watch on TV whenever he gets the chance.
“I usually don’t watch a lot of media, but definitely Inside the NBA is one of the shows that whenever I catch on TV, I try to watch for like five or 10 minutes just because it’s really funny,” he said. “It’s not just about basketball. You can see those guys out there, they’re having fun. They’re teasing one another. They’re just being real.”
Giannis Gives Charles Barkley His Flowers
I’m pretty sure Giannis is also a fan of Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith. However, the former two-time NBA MVP had some special praise for one particular host of the show.
“Charles Barkley is so unique because I think he doesn’t have no filter,” Giannis said. “He’s going to speak the truth. He’s going to speak whatever is on his mind. And that’s why I think a lot of people respect him.
“A lot of times he comes out with that they make no sense. But at the end of the day, you respect the guy that speaks the truth to you, has no filter, and at the end of the day, he has fun with it also.”

Barkley has been critical of Antetokounmpo and the Bucks in the past, and it appears that if anything, Giannis appreciates the honesty — even if he feels that Chuck just doesn’t make sense at times.
