It was previously announced by Nike that Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will have the latest iteration of his signature shoe line released later this year. Dubbed the Nike Giannis Freak 6, this new pair of kicks is expected to generate significant sales for the sportswear giant, as has been the case for Antetokounmpo’s previous five shoe releases.
Monday night was the perfect opportunity for Antetokounmpo to debut the new colorway of the Giannis Freak 6 as he led Greece against Nikola Jokic and Serbia in a tune-up game for the upcoming Olympics.

Giannis donned the white and pink colorway of the Freak 5, which caught the eye of more than a few supporters. After the game, Antetokounmo himself shared a close-up photo of his fresh pair of kicks — much to the delight of the fans on X, formerly Twitter.

The predominantly white pair of shoes features touches of pink and red, including a number of flowers on both sides. According to reports, the Nike Giannis Freak 6 Roses is set to hit shelves in August.
As expected, Giannis’ post generated a significant buzz surrounding the pair’s upcoming release.

Nike appears to have struck gold yet again with Antetokounmpo’s latest signature shoe. Then again, we will need to wait and see if these fans actually go out there and purchase these kicks once they’re available.
