After being traded by the Milwaukee Bucks to the Sacramento Kings, it does not seem like Robin Lopez is even going to get a chance to meet his new teammates. In fact, he might not even have to travel to Sacramento.
According to reports, the Kings have no intention of keeping Lopez on their roster after acquiring him in exchange for cash considerations. Sacramento reportedly plans on waiving his contract as soon as they are able to.
Ex-Milwaukee Bucks Center Robin Lopez Sends Message to Kings After Trade
Being the funny man that he is, Lopez decided to make light of this situation. A fan sarcastically thanked the 35-year-old for everything he’s contributed to the Kings franchise, which obviously, is nothing.
This prompted a hilarious response from Lopez as he came out with a bold demand for the organization:
I just hope it's enough to get my number in the rafters I hope I left a legacy there https://t.co/YDfKOuiPUE

You just love to see the fighting spirit in Lopez, who clearly hasn’t lost an ounce of his sense of humor amid this turn of events.
Lopez was actually present on Thursday night as the Bucks hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Fiserv Forum. He made it clear, however, that he gave zero cares about the game as he read a book while sitting courtside.
Never change, Robin. Never change.
