The Milwaukee Bucks return to action on Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings with the intention of building on their 124-117 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. This will be Milwaukee’s final stop in their taxing four-game Western Conference road trip, where they have so far lost two out of three.
A win in Sacramento will allow the Bucks to go home with a 2-2 record in this California road spell, and it appears as though Giannis Antetokounmpo will be available to help them achieve this objective on Tuesday night. Nevertheless, with the former back-to-back MVP still listed on the injury report, the question remains: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Kings?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Probable to Play Vs. Kings
When the Bucks submitted their injury report on Monday, Antetokounmpo was listed as probable to play due to tendinitis in his right knee. As of writing, there have been no changes in his injury status after the morning shootaround.
It appears that the Bucks are still assessing Giannis’ condition before making a final decision. Milwaukee head coach Doc Rivers should speak to the press an hour or so before tip-off and we expect a conclusive update from him on Antetokounmpo’s status by then.
However, given how Giannis has been able to play through multiple injuries of late, it seems likely that the same will be the case on Tuesday night. So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Kings, the answer is that it’s highly probable.
UPDATE: Coach Doc has confirmed that Giannis will suit up against the Kings:
