Patrick Beverley got his first career start for the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night. It came at the perfect time too as the Bucks hosted his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers.
Beverley got the nod to start with both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton sidelined for this one. The veteran made sure to take advantage of the golden opportunity that was handed to him.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Patrick Beverley Goes Full Savage on Clippers
Beverley didn’t have a mind-blowing performance against the Clippers. That honor belonged to Damian Lillard, who led his team to a huge comeback victory with 41 points. Pat Bev wasn’t bad at all in his first start, though, finishing with 12 points, nine rebounds, two assists, four steals, and three triples. As usual, his contributions went way beyond the box score as well.
That’s now five straight victories for Milwaukee, who incidentally, has also won eight out of 10 games since Beverley joined the squad.
You can be sure that the ever-vocal Beverley will have quite a lot to say after helping the Bucks take down one of his former teams. True enough, the feisty veteran wasted no time sharing his thoughts on the win via Twitter:

Beverley (and his Pat Bev Pod account) is clearly hyped up with this win — and rightfully so.
