The Denver Nuggets entered halftime of their Monday night matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks down by 16 points. This was after a mind-blowing first-half performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who dropped 26 points on 10-of-12 shooting in the first two quarters of action.
To make matters worse for the Nuggets, it now appears that they will be without their second-best player for the second half.
Jamal Murray Questionable to Return Vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Murray was unable to start the second half for the Nuggets. Apparently, the 26-yer-old suffered a lower leg injury in the opening half, which now has him questionable to return to the game:
Injury Update:
QUESTIONABLE:
– Jamal Murray (Bilateral Tibia Inflammation)DOUBTFUL:
– Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Right Hamstring Tightness)— Denver Nuggets (@nuggets) February 13, 2024
As the tweet above indicates, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is also doubtful to return after experiencing tightness in his right hamstring.

As for Murray, the 6-foot-4 combo guard has been dealing with multiple injuries of late. He has been pretty banged up, but he has been able to play through the injuries. The last time he sat out for Denver was on December 12, and he has been relatively healthy since.
Nuggets fans will be hoping that this isn’t a serious issue for their star guard. Denver, however, will likely need to try and mount a comeback against the Bucks on Monday night without the services of Murray (and KCP).
