The Milwaukee Bucks will need to go through the New York Knicks on Tuesday night in order to book their place in the semifinals of the NBA’s In-Season Tournament. This won’t be an easy game by any means but at this point, the Bucks already know who they’re going to go up against in the semis on Thursday if they are able to defeat the Knicks at the Fiserv Forum on Tuesday night.
Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers Take Down Boston Celtics
The two teams that battled it out in the other quarterfinal matchup in the East were the Indiana Pacers and the Boston Celtics. Tyrese Haliburton and Co. hosted the Celtics at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Monday, but they were still the underdogs against a powerhouse Boston side.
The Pacers did not get the script, though. Oshkosh, Wisconsin native Tyrese Haliburton led the way for Indiana with his first-ever career triple-double. The budding superstar finished with 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting, to go along with 10 rebounds, 13 assists, a steal, five triples, and zero turnovers (!) in 40 minutes of action.
It was a tightly contested battle throughout, but it was the Pacers who stepped it up in crunch time. It was Haliburton who scored on a wild four-point play to give his team some much-needed separation with less than two minutes remaining:
GOODNESS, TYRESE HALIBURTON 😱

The Pacers did not look back from that point.
Milwaukee Bucks Will Need to Take Care of Business First
You could say that between Boston and Indiana, the Pacers would be the more favorable matchup for the Bucks — at least on paper.
Be that as it may, Milwaukee will need to take care of business on Tuesday night against the Knicks first. We’ve already had one upset in the East in the quarterfinals and New York will want to make it two in a row.
