Milwaukee Bucks stud MarJon Beauchamp has been in his fair share of hardships in life. Much like many NBA players in the league, this young man also grew up in poverty, and it’s his hard work and dedication to his craft that has allowed him to reach the heights that he now has early in his professional career.
Life might be much more comfortable now for Beauchamp and his family, but this doesn’t mean that it’s peaches and cream every single day.
Milwaukee Bucks’ MarJon Beauchamp Speaks Out on ‘Tough’ NBA Life

In a recent interview, Beauchamp got brutally honest about the day-to-day grind he has to go through now that he’s in the NBA. When asked how he approaches the ups and downs of being a professional basketball player, the 23-year-old admitted that it’s no walk in the park:
“It’s hard,” he said. “People look at our lives and this it’s this easy. But we really got to put work in. We gotta keep our mental right. Still gotta focus on off-the-court things. Man, it’s tough.”

It’s not as if Beauchamp is complaining, though. He knows his journey is similar to that of the majority of his peers, and that they too have had to go through many obstacles along the way. In fact, the former Yakima Valley Community College standout is relishing the challenges he continues to face every single day:
“But we didn’t get here for no reason,” Beauchamp continued. “Everything we’ve been through prepared us for this. That’s how I look at it.”
