There was no shortage of action during Sunday’s wild clash between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Sacramento Kings. Naturally, the moment that stood out was Damian Lillard sinking a 32-foot last-second heave to give the Bucks a 143-142 victory in overtime.
Kings head coach Mike Brown, however, was also heavily involved in the drama throughout the game. This included the 53-year-old getting himself ejected early in the fourth quarter for arguing with the game official.
Mike Brown Slapped With Hefty Fine After Ejection Vs. Milwaukee Bucks
It goes without saying that Brown wasn’t at all pleased with how the game was officiated on Sunday night. At one point in the fourth quarter, the Kings shot-caller charged at the referee after seeing what he believed was an incorrect non-call:
Mike Brown was NOT happy. 😳

Brown had to be held back by his own players, which unsurprisingly, led to the Sacramento coach getting tossed from the game.
The league has now reviewed the incident and they have decided to slap Brown with a hefty $50,000 fine for “aggressively pursuing a game official during live play.”
Brown wasn’t done either. He went scorched earth in his post-game press conference as he slammed the referees’ performance on the evening. The Kings coach even brought out a laptop to point out the referees’ errors — at least in his eyes.

For his action, the league punished Brown for “publicly criticizing the officiating,” which also impacted the amount of money he will need to shell out as payment for the fine.

$50,000 is no joke. Talk about adding insult to injury, right?
