Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton has been working hard to get back into game shape ahead of his highly-anticipated return to the lineup. The three-time All-Star sprained his left ankle in early February, and he has not taken the floor since then.
Middleton missed his 13th straight game on Friday in Milwaukee’s brutal 123-122 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He is now set to sit out 14 games in a row when the Bucks face the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Khris Middleton Still OUT

Middleton himself stated that there’s a possibility that he would return during the team’s current four-game Western Conference road trip. That won’t happen on Sunday, though, after the Bucks officially ruled him out for Sunday’s contest.
Middleton’s next chance to return would be on Tuesday when the Bucks play their fourth and final road game against the Sacramento Kings before heading back home to Milwaukee. At this point, however, it just doesn’t feel like the 32-year-old will be ready for that one.

The Bucks have been very cautious with the health of their star swingman, who is now set to miss his 22nd game of the season. Milwaukee has opted to rest Middleton during back-to-back sets, and this will likely be the case again once he returns from this current ankle injury.
The silver lining here is that the Bucks still play a whole lot of games before the playoff starts, which should give Middleton more than enough time to get back to full health by the time the postseason comes around.
