The Miami Heat will be without their most important player on Tuesday night when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum for a highly-anticipated Eastern Conference showdown. Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for personal reasons, which means that he will now miss his second consecutive game for the Heat after sitting out Sunday’s 110-106 loss to the Boston Celtics.
Heat Star Jimmy Butler OUT Vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Sadly, Butler had a recent death in his family, which has led to the Heat giving their star player an official leave of absence. The five-time All-NBA forward has decided to skip Miami’s two-game road trip, which starts on Tuesday against the Bucks. The Heat also won’t have Butler for Wednesday’s contest against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Needless to say, Butler’s absence comes at a terrible time for the Heat, given how they play three of the top teams in the conference right before the All-Star break.
Nevertheless, family always comes first, and it’s completely understandable that Butler has requested some time off amid this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jimmy and his family during these trying times.
