Khris Middleton has been out of action for the Milwaukee Bucks over the past three games. This is after the three-time All-Star injured his ankle on February 6 against the Phoenix Suns.
The Bucks have yet to provide a firm timetable for Middleton’s return, but what we do know is that he won’t be coming back on Tuesday against the Miami Heat.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Khris Middleton OUT Vs. Heat
According to the official injury report, Middleton won’t be available for Tuesday’s bout against the defending Eastern Conference champs. The 32-year-old is still nursing a left ankle sprain, which could keep him out until after the upcoming All-Star break.
The fact that Middleton won’t play against Miami does not come as a surprise. He was seen in a walking boot and crutches after the Suns game last week, and the Bucks haven’t been able to provide a significantly positive update on his injury since.
Then again, the fact that Milwaukee hasn’t revealed when Middleton will be back has left a few fans optimistic. His next chance to return will be on Thursday against the Memphis Grizzlies, which will be the Bucks’ last game before the mid-season break.
At this point, though, I wouldn’t be holding my breath.
