Milwaukee Bucks news: The Boston Celtics play two games in two nights. They took down the best team in the West, the Minnesota Timberwolves, in a hard-fought overtime battle on Wednesday, 127-120. It doesn’t help Boston one bit that they now have to travel to Wisconsin to face the Bucks on Thursday night.
To say that this is a tough back-to-back set for the Celtics would be an understatement.
Celtics Take Down Timberwolves

The last time the Celtics battled the Wolves, it was Minnesota who escaped with a 114-109 win. Tatum made sure this wasn’t going to be the case on Wednesday as he led his team with 45 points on 13-of-26 shooting, to go along with six triples, four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
“We’ve got a great memory. We remember playing those guys in Minnesota,” Tatum said, via Jay King of The Athletic.
Anthony Edwards did all he could for Minnesota, finishing with 29 points and six rebounds. It wasn’t enough, though, as Tatum and Co. made sure to even the score against the West’s top team.
Milwaukee Bucks Are Up Next for Boston

It doesn’t get any easier for the Celtics. They return to action 24 hours later against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in a marquee Eastern Conference matchup. Boston won the last time out, so it’s the Bucks who will be out for some revenge at the Fiserv Forum come Thursday night.
After his heroic performance against Minnesota, Jayson Tatum dropped a brutally honest assessment of Boston’s current schedule:
“I read somewhere that we’ve got the easiest schedule remaining. I don’t know when that s**t gonna start,” he said.
He’s not wrong.
